Joelle's passion for food came early. In a family of great savory cooks, her mother's Moroccan dishes were infamous, and Joelle soon found her calling as the baker in the family. Born in Morocco, raised in Montreal, and inspired by California's organic, healthful food revolution, Joelle had always dreamed of opening a little bakeshop, with a twist. After having spent the last 25 years building the Charles David shoe empire alongside her father, Company CEO and Founder, Charles Malka, Joelle Bercovith, the long time Director of Retail for the company, and now Owner of TWIST Eatery, knows what it means to work hard and follow a dream, Joelle is now definitely ready to pursue her own dreams and ambitions at TWIST Eatery.
